University Plains Speedway is South Dakota's Fastest Kart track, located 1/2 mile North of Brookings at the intersection of Medary Ave. and the Highway 14 Bypass (see map below). Our track is a 1/4 mile high banked dirt oval, where karts often travel at speeds approaching 70 miles per hour! 2008 marks 25 years of continuous operation! For fun family entertainment, be sure to visit us during the racing season!
